My name is Charlie Hoffman and I am the owner of Anesthesia Outfitter, a small company specializing in the service and repair of veterinary anesthesia machines in the southeast.   I also custom-build anesthesia machines for veterinary practitioners, and sell anesthesia supplies and accessories.  The company , Anesthesia Outfitter, was formed in the mid-1990′s, and was started as the result of a keen interest in the inner workings of anesthesia machines, coupled with the necessity to maintain the equipment used in my career of 25 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician & finally as a Veterinary Technician Specialist (Anesthesia).  The bulk of my career was spent working as an Anesthesia Technician in veterinary teaching institutions in the southeast, and I retired as a Senior Clinical Specialist in Anesthesia from The University of TN College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

The goal of Anesthesia Outfitter is to provide a perceived service to the veterinary community by someone from within the veterinary field who can relate to problems encountered when an actual patient is under anesthesia, and troubleshoot those problems considering the standpoint of the personnel actually performing anesthesia on animals. With my background and training in anesthesia, I feel uniquely equipped to actually consider the safety of the patients, and the role that their physiological status plays in the technical administration of inhalant anesthetics.

I feel strongly that a service such as Anesthesia Outfitter can foster a truly symbiotic relationship with the veterinary practitioner, resulting in keeping your all-important anesthesia equipment functioning smoothly and safely, and I look forward to helping in any way I can with your anesthesia equipment needs.

Best Regards,

Charlie Hoffman
